Join us for this popular educational and tasty happy hour at Longmont’s St. Vrain Cidery! You’ll get to enjoy some delicious cheese and hard-cider pairings while watching homemade cheese being made by Kate Johnson of The Art of Cheese. During this interactive demonstration class, you’ll learn the basic art and science behind the cheesemaking process, the equipment and key ingredients needed, and how to source the best milk for making cheese at home.
And to celebrate spring kidding season, we’ll be bringing some special guests from Briar Gate Farm who will make an appearance at the end of class for some snuggling and photo ops.
You’ll leave with some great recipes and the know-how to make a few easy cheeses yourself.
